Educational Meeting from September 25–27, 2026
The annual conference of the EBMT’s Inborn Errors Working Party (IEWP) will take place in Zurich from September 25 to 27, 2026.
The conference will focus on current developments in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and ex vivo gene therapy for congenital immune and metabolic disorders. The scientific program will include presentations on chronic granulomatous disease (CGD), the Epstein-Barr virus, autoimmune diseases, and immunoconditioning, as well as special sessions for early-career researchers. For the first time, a separate program for nursing professionals will also be offered.
The conference thus provides an important platform for interdisciplinary exchange between research, clinical practice, and nursing. International experts are expected to attend to present new study results and discuss prospects for the further development of personalized therapies.
The conference is being organized on site by Prof. Tayfun Güngör and Prof. Jana Pachlopnik Schmid.
